The peas used for extracting protein are sourced from Agrocorp’s network of farmers in Canada. Protein extraction from these non-GMO peas are then conducted in our pea processing plant in Saskatchewan, Canada.
The end product of pea protein concentrates manufactured by Agrocorp are used to produced end consumer food products, marketed under its own plant-based consumer brand, HerbYvore.
Products under the HerbYvore brand include the HerbYvore Plant Protein Block, which is a versatile ingredient for plant-based cooking and baking.
It looks like tofu, cooks like a non-melting cheese, and provides a binding effect that is needed in some plant-based recipes to replace the use of dairy and/or eggs.
